Chamberlains Estates – A Decade Of Support

The Nightingale have received the generous support of Chamberlains Estates for over 10 years now. We have a long history with the local estate agents, who are passionate about community support and charity work. One of the Co-Founding Partners, Andrew Ryde has not only marshalled our Night Hike several times and helped at our famous ‘It’s a Knockout event’, but has been instrumental in making our Christmas card reach their maximum fundraising potential for the last 5 years. We asked Andrew how his relationship with The Nightingale began:

“Having seen the brilliant work Nightingale does in the local community, we wanted to get more involved, having ‘modelled’ using the term very loosely in the fashion show, marshalling on the night hike and helping at the civic centre and sponsoring safety signage for it last year.

The Nightingale is on our doorstep, they were an obvious choice for our chosen charity. 6 years ago we became aware of how much Christmas cards cost charities to print, which heavily impacts the amount of money they’re able to raise. We therefore made the decision to source and pay for The Nightingale Christmas cards ourselves. This not only means our donation goes further, as 100% of the sales proceeds go to The Nightingale, but the cards also help promote the charity to the wider community.

In this time we’ve printed nearly 20 different designs have been printed, raising over £10,000 to help the charity!”

Recently Chamberlains also sourced our jute bags! The whole Nightingale team love them as they’re durable, hold a lot and gets The Nightingale name to more people when we’re doing a shop.
