There is no one size fits all approach to how you and the company you work for can get involved with fundraising for The Nightingale. We want any involvement to suit you and will work with you to discover what works best. Whether as an individual or part of a team you can make a huge difference to our work by fundraising with your work. We appreciate any way you and your company can get involved in fundraising for us. Here are a few company wide ideas

Charity of The Year – Choose The Nightingale as your Charity of the Year and donate a % of your company’s profits or a set amount

Sponsor an Event – We have a whole calendar of events every year that you could sponsor all or aspects of

Volunteer Day – Allow staff one day a year where they volunteer in our centre and share their valuable skills

Regular Giving – Set up a standing order to give a regular donation

Bespoke Services – Create bespoke products or services for The Nightingale and/or our clients

Fundraising…

It’s all in the name. If you’re considering company wide fundraisers or ways to encourage staff to get involved, there’s no better way than doing something fun. Research conducted by national fundraising tool Enthuse found that 41%* of people are more likely to participate and fundraise for charity if there is a ‘fun’ element. Here are a few fun ideas

Competitions – Host a company-wide raffle, auction or lottery where staff can buy and sell tickets

Bake Off – See if your staff can impress Paul Hollywood with their baking skill, with a delicious bake sale

Quiz Night – Have staff form teams and go head to head against each other. The great thing about a quiz night is it can be done in person or via Zoom!

Dress Down Day – Just like in school, pay £1 to dress down!

What can I do right now?

There are also plenty of ways that your company can fundraise for The Nightingale that you could put in place today that are easy to set up, require minimum up keep but are consistent and effective ways to help.

Loose Change Boxes – Place loose change boxes at transaction point or reception/communal areas to encourage small staff and client donations.
