Christmas Carol Concert
Join The Nightingale and One to One Enfield on Thursday 10th December at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel & St George for our enchanting Christmas Carol Concert to get you in the festive spirit.
Enjoy performances by One to One Enfield’s Sing Out Choir, Violinist, Gabriella Bavetta and Trumpeter, Peter Desmond as they delight you with their renditions of Christmas Carols and sing-a-long festive favourites.
From 6:30pm we’ll be serving free mulled wine and mince pies in the church hall before the concert starts at 7pm.
All money raised at our Christmas Carol Concert will be split between The Nightingale and One to One Enfield for both charities to continue supporting our community.
Thank you to our event sponsor Alianza for supporting us.

Sing Out Choir is an inclusive choir set up for adults with autism, learning disabilities or any additional needs, although the choir is open to anybody who loves to sing! Directed by Camilla Farrant, the choir takes place during term time and has three concerts per year, as well as performing at community events and private functions.
Gabriella Bavetta is an up-and-coming performer with a number of accolades already to her name.
She started playing violin at the age of four using the Suzuki method under teacher Claudio Forcada and was a student at Dame Alice Owen’s School.
As former Leader of the National Youth Orchestra (NYO) and National Children’s Orchestra (NCO) she has performed at prestigious concert halls across the UK, most notably the Royal Albert Hall leading NYO in 2022 as part of the BBC Proms season.
In 2024 she performed the Beethoven Violin Concerto as soloist with Redhill Sinfonia and in 2025 performed the Brahms Violin Concerto as soloist with Waveney Sinfonia. In addition, during 2025 she resumed her role as Leader of the English Schools Orchestra and acts as mentor to its talented young musicians.
Peter Desmond began playing trumpet at the age of 8, and later studied music at Leeds University before moving to Birmingham to train as a secondary school music teacher. He taught in secondary schools for 18 years before being appointed Head of Haringey Music Service, a job which gave him the opportunity to work with many local children, young people and adults, sharing his passion for music, before retiring at the end of 2020.
He has travelled the world with Haringey Young Musicians and also as a performer with a wide variety of Christian groups. Peter and his viola playing wife Celia live in Enfield and are members of Enfield Baptist Church, where Peter often leads worship from the piano. Peter is a regular member of various ensembles, including Regent Brass, Enfield Chamber Orchestra, All Souls Orchestra, North London Singers, City of London Symphonic Winds and Aeterna. He is currently directing the Sing Out Choir, covering for Camilla Farrant, who is on maternity leave.
