1 in 2 people in the UK will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime
A staggering statistic showing that our support is more vital than ever, especially as it is a real possibility that each and everyone one of us will be touched by cancer at some point. Nobody should face cancer alone and with your fundraising they won’t have to. Whatever you do, bake sale or marathon, will help us continue to provide free services.
We have lots of great ideas and tips to help you every step of the way to spread the word and reach your fundraising goal.
A Few Inspirational Fundraisers…

Anne’s daughter has been going through cancer treatment and sadly lost all of her hair because of it. In solidarity with her daughter, Anne decided to shave her hair and kindly raise money for The Nightingale. Her initial fundraising target was £100 but she reached £1,120! An amazing act of love and kindness from Anne!

“We had a fantastic Sunday Memorial Walk for Sheila. Everyone was happy in the sunshine, making friends and memories. We all did Sheila proud and are glad the money will go to The Nightingale to help others living with cancer.” – Lynne Walker, friend of Sheila Day. Their walk raised an amazing £1,690.
