What a Night Hike!
We had a blast and we hope you did too! Over 1,200 of you turned up and went on a walk for cancer support. To all the walkers, sponsors, supporters, a big THANK YOU on behalf of all the clients you’ve helped to support through their cancer journey.
What is the Night Hike?
A sponsored 5K, 10K or 15K walk around Enfield raising money for The Nightingale to help keep our services free to thousands of people affected by cancer. It doesn’t matter which route you choose, you’ll be walking with likeminded people, determined to make their steps count!
The Night Hike starts at 6pm on Friday 16th May at the Enfield Civic Centre, with music, entertainment, warm up, fun photo opportunities and other surprises (to be announced soon!) before the Claxon sounds and the walking starts. Plus, all walkers receive the famous Night Hike Goody Bag, with new surprises and merchandise each year.
The Night Hike is for everyone and we really mean it! Children under 12 can register for free plus we are always happy to see furry four legged friends along the route. For any other questions, check out our Night Hike FAQs page.

Night Hike 2025 standout moments

We had our youngest Night Hiker ever at just 5 weeks old and our older Night Hiker ever at 95 years old!
The Night Hike really is for everyone!

No, not the animal! The Beavers from our local Scout Group didn’t want to miss out on the Night Hike fun (but 5K was a bit long for them), so they decided to make their own 3K route! They really showed incredible spirit and eagerness to take part with the community.

Batman, The Joker and Nuka Cola took time out of their busy schedules to take part and fundraiser for The Nightingale.
Check us out, we’ve gone Hollywood!

We didn’t think it was fair that only our two-legged walkers got a goody bag, so our friends at Creature Comforts came down and gave our delicious treats to our four-legged walkers!
As well as tennis balls and the cutest doggy bandanas!
Simple yet effective. Walking any distance has huge health benefits.
