Volunteer Application Form

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer with The Nightingale. Simply put, we couldn’t achieve as much as we do without the outstanding support and work of our volunteers. Once you complete the Volunteer Application below we will be in touch shortly to discuss your application, the role/s you have applied for and an interview date.

If we want to take your application further we’ll invite you into our centre to talk about your experience, why you want to volunteer and what areas you’d like to volunteer in. This is as much a chance for us to get to know you as it is for you to get to know us. We’ll then have a better idea of your skills and interests and can match you to the right role. Please note that two references will be taken up for all volunteer positions and a Criminal Record Bureau check will be required for some roles.

  • Please provide details of any medical condition/s that could affect your ability to undertake tasks, or anything that you feel could be relevant.
  • Because of the nature of the support given by The Nightingale all volunteers are required to provide details of any current convictions, or convictions which for other purposes are spent under the provisions of Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) (Amendments) Order 1986. Please give details below or write NOT APPLICABLE.
