It has been a year since the last Nightingale Newsletter and a lot has happened in that time.

We’re glad to be able to bring you our Nightingale Autumn Newsletter 2020 full of updates. The Nightingale has gone from a bustling Centre filled with clients to an almost empty Centre which is eerily quiet. No one has been untouched by the effects of COVID-19 and so it was only natural that our first newsletter in a year reflected the experiences of The Nightingale community during this time.

In this Autumn edition we focus on the impact of COVID-19 as our Chair of Trustees, Sam Seth, our volunteers and our clients all reflect on the last year, how their lives have changed and how The Nightingale is continuing to provide vital support during this time. Read about our search for Nightingale Champions and how we’re trying to raise much needed funds to continue the crucial services we provide through Lights of Love and our Annual Christmas Raffle.

Throughout the last seven months we have been in regular contact with our clients and we know you are just as keen to get back into the Centre as we are to have you back. We look forward to welcoming you back, hopefully, soon.
